The BMP180 is a high-precision, digital barometric pressure sensor designed for mobile and environmental monitoring applications. Using advanced MEMS technology, it provides accurate measurements of both atmospheric pressure and temperature. By calculating the change in air pressure, this module can also function as a high-accuracy altimeter, capable of detecting altitude shifts as small as 17cm. Its I2C interface and low power profile make it an ideal choice for GPS navigation enhancement, weather forecasting stations, and altitude-hold systems in UAVs and quadcopters.
